前作から4年。今作も前作と同様、非常にひっそりと届けられた印象だ。前作辺りから、デジタル的な音像から完全にアナログ志向なスムーズな音像へと緩やかに変化してきたハイ･ラマズだが、今回もその流れは継続され、非常に落ち着いたトーンの優しさ溢れる作品となった。これを新機軸がないと取るかであるが、現在の音楽シーンはまさにそう取っているようで、全く話題になっていないのが残念と言えば残念だ。しかし、究極的に淡い心地よさを追求した音楽というのは、実はとても貴重なもので、これはハイ･ラマズが結成時から重ねたさまざまな音の実験(遊び)を経て、ここに辿り着いているからこそできる芸当だと思う。こういう作品には、何の予備知識も必要としない音楽本来の美しさがあり、本当は音楽をたくさん聴かない人にこそ聴いて欲しい作品である。ぜひハイ･ラマズを今まで一度も聴いたことのない人たちに、聴いて欲しい。きっとそれは感動的な出会いになるだろう。

そして、これまでずっとハイ･ラマズを聴いてきた方々は、まだまだ彼らが次の展開をしていく可能性を秘めていることを忘れて欲しくはない。それくらい彼らが奏でる音楽には期待している。

期待を裏切らないハイラマズらしいポップスだと思います。

美しくファンタジーちっくでありながらしっかり手触りも感じられるそのサウンドは懐かしさや温かさも与えてくれます。特に今回は包まれるような壮大さがいいですね。疲れない音楽なのに、かといってまるで退屈する事はありません。

避暑地なんかで風を感じながら聴けたら最高かもしれないです。
