沖縄を舞台にした映画を撮り続ける中川陽介監督が手掛けたラブロマンス。国籍も年齢も異なる孤独な3人の男女が織り成す恋愛模様を綴る。鈴木京香と台湾で歌手・俳優として絶大な人気を誇るワン・リーホン、映画初出演作となった香椎由宇が共演。

台湾人の殺し屋で、今は沖縄に身を潜めるリャンソン。彼はコインランドリーで出会った女性・由紀子に恋する。一方、スイミングプールでリャンソンを見たサヤは彼に惹かれていき…。沖縄を舞台に、孤独を抱えた3人の男女の物語を描いた切ないラブストーリー。鈴木京香、王力宏、香椎由宇ほか出演。

公開時から地味な作品ではあります。しかしながら私にとって大切な一作となりました。切なく、やさしく、心地良い。ラストが良いです。購入以来、繰返し観ています。きちんと観られない時でも環境ビデオのように流しっぱなしにしたりもしています。タイプは違いますが、『かもめ食堂』も私はそうしています。鈴木京香は、こういう役が似合うようになりましたね。

台湾で一仕事おえ、沖縄に姿を隠す殺し屋(ワンリーホン)。
その殺し屋が想いを寄せる、弁当屋で働く女(鈴木京香)。
そして殺し屋が通うプールの、彼のことが気になる監視員(香椎由宇)。

3人3様に密かに恋物語が進んでいくのですが、それぞれの人物に
何かしら物悲しい雰囲気が漂っており、映像効果もあいまって
文字通り、台湾と日本の下町な雰囲気がよく現れた、いい意味で
まったく都会的でない物語(と映像)。香港、台湾映画などが好きな方にも
うけるかと思います。物悲しさがうまく表現された秀作です。

夏と沖縄の雰囲気が大好きで一年ほど前に購入しました。とても静かですが、主演の二人が美しく、味わい深い作品に仕上がっています。景色も美しく、画面から蒸し暑い空気が伝わり、汗ばむ夏を感じる事ができます。非現実だけど美しい、夢の様な切ない沖縄の夏を味わってください。
