前作からの傾向だと思うんですが、アルバム全体の完成度がかなり高いです。「この曲だ！」っていうものはあまりないと思いますが、一つ一つの曲が組み合わさってこのアルバムを創り出しているという印象を受けます。激しいサウンドが持ち味である「造花が笑う」や「飛光」といった初期の曲の方が良かった、という人が多いですが、このアルバムに収録されているような美しい曲こそが、大木君の求めていたもののような気がします（あくまで僕が思うだけで、大木君がどう考えているのかは知りませんよ）。僕が初めてACIDMANの「創」を聞いたとき、「激しいサウンドの中にも美しさがある」と感じました。同時代の他バンドとは一線を画していると思いました。このアルバムを最高傑作と言う人も多いですが、僕はACIDMANはアルバムを出すごとに進化していると思います。だから、今作「green chord」は最高傑作だと思っています。これほど美しいサウンドを鳴らせるようになったのも、バンド自身の進化を表していると言えます。僕は全曲必聴と言いたいところですが、あえて挙げるなら美しいバラードである「プリズムの夜」、そして１０分を超える大作「toward」です。聞いて損はないと思います。

and worldの「静」の部分をさらに濃くしたようなアルバム。
もう、初期の時のような疾走感は無くなってしまいましたが、ACIDMANの世界観が一番伝わってくるアルバムだと感じています。
「プリズムの夜」、「toward」は、ストリングスを用いて、壮大な雰囲気を生み出してます。
より多くの人に、じっくりと聴いてほしいアルバム。

デビューアルバムから買っているが、アルバム全体を考えると、正直捨て曲と言ってしまいたくなるような作品もけっこうあったりするんだけど、なんかひきつけられてしまう。
そんなバンドなんですよね。
ただ、このアルバムはまだ一回しか聴いていないけど曲のクオリティは過去最高ではないかなと思う。曲単位ではなくて、アルバム全体という意味で。
ジャズっぽい要素も入っているので、一般受けはしないけど、時々びっくりするようないい曲を書いてくれるので、やはり目が離せません。
これまでのアルバムを気に入っている人なら買って損はないでしょう。
