ニンテンドーDS版として登場の大人気「スーパーマリオブラザーズ」シリーズ。ファミコン時代のスーパーマリオシリーズを継承していて、3D空間の冒険ではなくて、2D横スクロールアクション。操作方法も、基本的に「十字ボタン+ふたつのボタン」のシンプル操作で、いろいろなアクションをこなす。

もちろん冠にニューがつくだけあって、新要素も。画面いっぱいの大きさまで巨大化する巨大マリオになると、ブロックや敵をぶっとばすのは当然だが、土管などのマップギミックまでふっとばして突き進む。豆粒大になるミニマリオもかわいい。他にも新しいアクションやギミックがあるが、どれも新奇さを狙うのではなく、自然な感じで導入されているところが凄い。

ぼくは、アクションゲームが苦手なので、ワールド5あたりから苦戦してなかなかスイスイとは進めなくなってきたが、救済策も随所に隠されていて、プレイしていると新しい発見があって楽しい。マリオシリーズのファンにはもちろんオススメだし、アクションゲーム初心者だけどちょっと手応えのあるものにチャレンジしたいって人にもオススメだ。

各ワールドをクリアしてしまった今、
ミニゲームを万遍無く遊んでいます!!!

"ミニゲームなんて所詮おまけでしょ？"
と思われる方もいらっしゃる方もいるかもしれませんが、
本編並みに面白いです!!!グラフィックも綺麗ですし。
このボリュームでこの価格は本当に良心的だと思います^^
任天堂さんアリガトウ!!!

「昔のマリオ（スーパーマリオブラザーズ）」より進化していることにより、
プレイしてみて「外見は同じだけど中身は全く別物」という印象を持ちました。
言葉で表現するのがなかなか難しいのですが、
平たく言うと昔は「古き良き日本のマリオ」という雰囲気が強かったのですが、
今作は「きらびやかな世界のマリオ」という雰囲気がひしひし伝わってきました。
（ゲーム中に出てくるマリオの叫び声？もディズニーアニメっぽいです）

ゲームの内容はもちろん面白いですが、
昔のマリオの大白さを期待していた私は、少し寂しさも感じつつ、
「もう一度昔のマリオをやりたい！」って強く思ってしまいました。
気がつかない間に、歳をとっていたのかもしれません（＾−＾）

個人的には、ミニゲームにものすごくはまりました。
獲得したコインを様々なミニゲームで共有できるともっと良かったかも、なんて思っています。

プレゼントに買ってもらいましたが、「え〜、マリオ・・・！？」と思いました。

ところが以前のマリオと全然違いました！！　大きくなるし、小さくなるし。　ファイヤーマリオがやられてもファイヤーがなくなるだけだし。　二つのエリアに行くためにはある条件を満たさないと行けないーというのも凝っていて良いと思います。　めちゃめちゃハマってしまいました〜！！　水中エリアは今回も苦手ですが。　いろんな種類のマリオに会えるので本当に面白いです！！　　ミニゲームも面白かったです。　子供も遊べるのもありますし、頭を鍛えられるようなゲームもあります。　買って損はないと思います。　対戦する相手がいないので残念ですが、もっと楽しいんだろうなぁ・・・
