ジェットブラックDS最大の弱点とも言える
「指紋の跡が目立つ」
と言う点についてはこのシリコンカバーを装着することで解消はされます。

しかし、このカバー自体の品質が少し気になりました。
DS本体にカバーを装着すると、上画面部分の両サイドがどうもしっくり収まりません。
フタを閉じるとカバーが横にはみ出して、フタが途中で引っかかってしまう事もあります。

それ以上に気になったのは、スイッチやコネクタなどのくり抜き部分です。
自分の場合、ボリュームとヘッドホンの部分ですが、ここだけ手作業なのでは？
と思うくらい作りが雑でした。
他のタッチペン収納部やカセット取り出し口などについては綺麗にその形でくり抜かれているので、
たまたま自分のカバーだけがそのような形になってしまったのかもしれませんが・・・

見た目とか特に気にならないと言う方であればオススメ出来ますが、
指紋の跡や汚れなどが気になる方であれば、カバーの品質は結局気になってしまうのでは無いでしょうか。

シリコンだからでしょうか。エアコンなどがかかってない部屋に置いておいたら、触ってみると油が溶け出したのかべったべたになっていました。すぐに本体から外して、単独で放置してみたところ、水溜りのような油溜まりができていました。
去年や一昨年は涼しい部屋に置いておいたからかこんな事はなかったのですが・・・
使用感は決して悪くはなかったのですが、その一点で星一つにさせていただきました。
DS本体はすぐ拭き取ったので無事でした。

DSの外側だけを覆うプロテクターでキズへの心配が格段にへります。
コントロールキーとボタン部のカバーがありませんが、あるとボタンが押しにくくなるので、
操作性を優先する人は、こっちがいいと思います。
蓋をしめた後ろ側（DSのソフトを入れる方）がプカプカしてますが、その他は問題なしです。
あと、ニオイ（化学臭）が微妙にします。
汚れやキズがつくよりは良いので、満足です。
値段はもっと安くして欲しいと思いました。
