最初はノリがいい楽曲揃いだなーくらいに思ってて敬遠してたのですが
PVのエレクトロ・ワールドを見たら、ハートを見事に射抜かれました。
サウンドプロデュースが中田ヤスタカ氏ということもあり
彼のサウンドが好きな人なら間違いなくハマれると思います。
が、それ以上に彼女たちの声が、歌い方に惹きつけられるものがあります。
購入して以来、エンドレス再生で聞いてますが
ボリューム控え目にすればBGMとして、
ボリュームをちょいとアップしてヘッドホンで聞けば、そこには素敵な音楽があります。
最近CDを買ってもパッとしないモノが多かっただけに、
このアルバムは久々に買って良かったと思う次第です。

高校生の時にYMO全盛だったおじさんは、TVCMの「ポリリズム」がやけに耳に残り、Perfumeって何ぞや?と思い(今頃)このアルバムを購入。

ヤバいです。
いい歳こいて、毎日通勤の車内で聴きまくる羽目になってしまいました。

特に#1〜4はツボにハマりました。
前頭葉直撃です。
手足も勝手に動きます。

こういったエレクトリック・ポップをどんな年代のかたが聴いているのかよく判りませんが、是非「おじさん」達にも聴いて貰いたいです。

40代後半でまだこのCDを聴いていない人、ずっと聴かないほうがいいかも。
「はまったら尋常でないはまり方をする」というのは真実で、中３の娘や妻に軽蔑されるから。容赦なくたたきつけるベースとドラム、それに乗っかるパキパキの音がいいのはもちろん、やっぱり彼女らがアイドルというのは重要。だってサウンドだけだったら近いのはほかにもあるし。歌われている世界は平明で押し付けがましいメッセージはないが、切ない気分になるのは底に深い絶望があるのかも。中田ヤスタカ氏に聞いてみたい。
このCDは家宝にします。ついでに言うとアマゾンではなくレコードやに走って買いました。届くまでの１日が待てなくて。新しいアルバム（初回版）はちゃんとアマゾンで予約入れましたよ。
