【アーティストについて】
1973年に『甲斐バンド』を結成し、11月に「バス通り」でデビュー。1975年にセカンドシングル「裏切りの街角」をリリースし、ロングセラーヒットとなる。1978年「HERO(ヒーローになる時、それは今)」で初のチャート1位を獲得、大ヒットとなる。1986年『甲斐バンド』解散後、ソロ活動を開始。1991年から1994年まで『KAI FIVE』 として活動。1998年小室哲哉プロデュースによりソロシングル3枚を発売。2004年11月「PARTY30 in 日本武道館」でDA PUMP、大黒摩季、大友康平らゲストアーティストを迎え、30周年ツアーのファイナルを飾った。日本ロック界のカリスマ的な存在である。

カバーアルバムとして一作目の「翼あるもの」は傑作だったと思う
今でも時々聴いている、選曲も良いし、いかにも即席バンドでの演奏としか聞こえないような
LAのバックバンドの演奏もそれなりに良かった。そして何よりも若々しく切ない甲斐の声がいつでも聴けるからだ。
2作目の「翼あるもの」もかなり良かった、しかし、打ち込みドラムと
シンセのホーンは頂けなかったが、予算が足りないのか。できれば
生楽器で取り直して欲しい、そうすれば評価はグッと上がる作品である。兎に角、甲斐の歌は良かった。

しかし何だこの「１０stories」は？
やはり年月は過ぎて昔の歌声は期待できないのでしょうか
一回だけ聴いてお蔵入りとなりました。
切ない歌声を期待しておりましたが、私の気持ちが切なくなりました。

新聞のコラムでたまたま目にして、買ってみました。評価は分かれるかもしれませんが、やっぱり甲斐さんが歌ってる...って確認できてうれしくなりました。ＣＤを聞きながら、高校生のころに聞いたＮＨＫのＦＭサウンドストーリーで、ウイスキーを飲みながら「みちづれ」を歌っていた甲斐さんのことを突然思い出しました。誰の歌をうたっても、自分の歌にしてしまってる甲斐さんが、数十年のブランクを飛び越えて自分のなかによみがえってきました。個人的には、「今宵の月のように」が気に入ってます。それと、松藤さんが、こそっとコーラスに参加しているのが、甲斐バンド時代からの世代にはうれしいかも。

前々作がカバー集だったのに、また今回もカバー！
自分より若い世代のアーティストの作品で、特に好きな10曲を選んだようだ。
オリジナルが作れなくなっちゃったのかなあ？
「ハナミズキ」・「接吻」が格好良かったから、星4個で許しておきます。（気持は星3個）
