波瀾万丈の経緯を経て発売自体が危ぶまれた、KIDの「infinity」シリーズ後継作。
前作「Remeber11」では”槻潮鋼”と名を変えて一シナリオ担当に退き、
「今いち自信を持てない」「（監督さんと）方向性が全く逆」と
異例のコメントを付していた鬼才・打越鋼太郎が立場も名前も元に戻して
世に問うただけのことはあり、緊迫感のない前半、寒いギャグ、冗舌で脈絡のない蘊蓄から、
プレイヤーの思いこみやノベルADV特有のシステムを利用した
徹底したミスリーディングと終盤へ到る怒濤の展開、カタルシス満点の種明かしといった
魅力まで全てが網羅されていて、「これぞ打越作品！」という仕上がりを見せている。

打越ファンとしてはこれだけでも満足なのだが、ゲームとしては一部CGや
演出が稚拙に過ぎ、この点では「Remember11」はおろか、
「Ever17」よりも退化した感が否めない。情報の与え方がやや粗雑な割には
トリックは複雑に過ぎ、シナリオも細部では整合性を欠く。
最初から覚悟して手にとったファンには問題ないレベルだろうが、
打越作品未経験者には敷居が高すぎるだろう。というわけで点は辛め。

「Ever17」でハマって「Remember11」でがっかりした人にはオススメ。
未体験の人は先に「Never7」か「Ever17」をプレイされたし。
もう少し時間や予算があれば…とも思うが、とりあえず次回作に期待。次も買います。

KIDの解散で下手したら遊ぶ事すら適わなかったこのゲーム、良くここまで
しっかりと作り上げたものだと思います。緊張感とトリック仕立ての展開は
今作も健在。Remember11では最後の種明かしで呆気に取られた方も多いと
思いますが、今回はちゃんと完結します。完全に、とは言えませんが少なくとも
広げた風呂敷をまとめられるだけの説得力があったと感じました。

ただ、ちょっと演出面が難アリかなぁ。せっかくの緊迫した戦闘シーンもCGや
効果音が妙に滑稽で何か拍子抜けしてしまう場面も。

まぁ個人的にはちゃんとしたカタチで出てくれて万々歳、シリーズのファンは
もとよりこの手のメタフィクショナルな話が好きな人にも薦められる良いゲーム
だと思います。

シナリオ原案はInfinityシリーズ等の打越鋼太郎氏。
ジグソーパズルをバラバラにプレイヤーに提示し、開放された最終ルートで多少強引なところはあれども見事に一枚の絵に組み上げる緻密さ、構成力はやはり脱帽に値するだろう。
鳴海ルート、錬丸ルートでちりばめられた謎、伏線が最後に一気に収束していく様は感心する。
しかし、このゲームは感心はすれど感動はしない類のものではないだろうか。

また、このゲームはCGがひどい。立ち絵はいい出来なのだが一枚絵はパッケージ等の絵とはかなりかけ離れたものである。
