高田さんの奏でる音色には、何か特別な力があるのではないかと思うくらい、いつも心に響きます。
初めて演奏を聴いた時も、そして楽しみにしていたこのCDを聴いた時も、涙が出てきました。
優しく、親しみやすい音色。
初めて聞く音なのに、なんだか懐かしい音色。
一つの楽器で演奏されているとは思えない高度な演奏技術。
聴くたびに、元気をもらいます。
本当に、１人でも多くの方に聴いて欲しい、私の大切なCDです。

こんなに優しく繊細で暖かな音色に出会えて感動です。大げさかもしれませんが、すべての動きを止めてその場から離れたくなくなる音楽です。
クラシックは胎教に良いので妊婦さんにはもちろんのこと、クラシックになじみがあまり無い方にも「2.パッヘルベルのカノン」や「9.トルコ行進曲」は聴きやすいと思います。特に「14.ラルゴ」は音の広がりが心地よく、癒されながらも明るい気持ちにしてくれます。
癒されたい方も、日々に追われてる方にもおすすめです！私は毎日の満員電車もipodに入れてコンサートホール気分で通勤してます。

アメリカを中心に活動しているマリンバ演奏家、高田直子さんのデビュー・アルバムです。
耳に心地よい曲の数々が心を癒してくれます。私は「クラシックを聴く」というような構えた聴き方ではなく、BGM的に日常の生活の中で彼女の音楽を流しています。
パッヘルベルの「パッヘルベルのカノン」、モーツアルトの「トルコ行進曲」といったポピュラーな曲が収録されているので、クラシックをあまり聴かない人でもすんなり聴く事が出来るでしょう。
