このCDについて

ピアノトリオ編制の2ndです。そもそも関根敏行氏の2作品が注目を浴びるきっかけはコアなピアノトリオ・マニアが目をつけたからだといえます。
それはつまり日本人コレクターだけが注目している作品ではないということで、レコードが珍しいからとかそういうことではないのです。
つまり内容。本作の素晴らしい内容がこうして世紀を超えてCD化される所以なのです。
当時のレコードがコレクター間で伝説となり、また吉祥寺にある老舗ライヴハウス サムタイム の初代ハウス・ピアニストという伝説を持つ関根氏は長い沈黙を破り、4年前より活動を再開。
現在は精力的に演りまくっております。初CD化!!

世に云う幻の名盤という奴がやはりまだまだ存在するのだなあ････。
相方のBASS,DRUMSも非常に良く三位一体のｸﾞﾙｰｳﾞは最近の作品と偽っても誰も訝らないはず。
1978年録音とあるが、当時はかのﾏｲﾙｽﾃﾞｲﾋﾞｽも永い沈黙期(活動休止中)にあり、
ﾌｭｰｼﾞｮﾝやﾛｯｸ全盛、日本ではﾆｭｰﾐｭｰｼﾞｯｸと言われたJ-Popの先駆けがﾌｫｰｸﾛｯｸから徐々に分化
しつつあった時期かと記憶している。そんな時代にこんな一本気なJazz演奏を残していたとは
驚きであり、実に潔い熱い演奏である。逆にそんな時代の流れに掉さす気概があればこその
ことであったのかも知れない。独学とはとても信じ難いよく詠う指先、流麗なﾌﾚｰｽﾞには唖然
とさせられること請け合いであろう。3枚しか録音がない上、近年まで活動休止していた方
らしいが、近く最新録音も世に出るとのことで非常に楽しみである。
こういう盤をわざわざﾘﾏｽﾀｰして出してくれるﾚｺｰﾄﾞ会社の気概にも是非、
厚い拍手を贈りたいと思う。流石は澤野工房＆ﾃﾞｨｽｸﾕﾆｵﾝ、これからも頑張ってほしいものだ。

ぜんぜん知らない人だけど試聴した印象と限定版ということでつい購入してしまいました。
わかりやすい曲調、きれいなタッチ、小気味よいパッセージ、１曲目からぐいぐい引き込まれてしまいます。
JAZZファンだけでなく、これからJAZZを聴き始めたい人にも文句なくお勧めできる作品だと思います。
