MTVなどで流れていたリードトラックの『This Ain't a Scene,It's an Arms Race』の
インパクトが大きかったので購入しましたが、とにかく完成度が高いです！
キャッチーなメロディセンスはもちろんですが、JAY-Zとのコラボも実現させた
オープニング曲やファンクテイストを盛り込んだ曲などロックだけに囚われない
彼らの幅広い音楽性も垣間見れます。特に4曲目の『I'm Like a Lawyer〜』はメロディも
素晴らしく、よく練られた曲だと思いました。今作はのFALL OUT BOYの大きな
ステップアップとなった入魂の1枚だと言えます。

前作と比べて感じたことを一点。何よりもメロディがよりわかりやすくなりました。彼らが持つ作曲センスの良さは前作でも伝わってきてはいたのですが、今作の”〜Ａｒｍｓ　Ｒａｃｅ”や”Ｔｈｎｋｓ　ｆｒ　ｔｈ　ｍｍｒｓ”を聴くと、それを確信することができると思います。本当に秀逸なポップミュージックに仕上がっています。また、両曲ともにミュージックビデオも大変面白くできているので、まだ聴かれたことのない方はそちらを視聴してみてから購入を検討されるといいのではないかと思います。

JAY-Zのアナウンスで開始されるFall Out Boyのメジャー２作目。曲はどれも最高です。現在の若手パンクバンドではFall Out Boyが一番だと思わせてくれる作品です。
