日本企画版以来、楽しみにしていたアルバムを聞きました。聞き始めは一作目と二作目の延長線かと思いきや、ジャズやボッサ色の濃いアレンジあり、ブルースっぽいアレンジありで、すごく工夫されており、前２作とは違います。独特の浮遊感も相変わらず相変心地良いです。一曲一曲にあまり大きなメリハリがないせいか、アルバムを通してさらっと聞けます。あ〜買って良かった！

1997にloudから出たデビューアルバムに衝撃を受けた。大げさかもしれないが、本当にいいアルバムで当時六本木で皿回しをしていた時、全曲かけまくった。めちゃくちゃ好きなアルバムだった。二作目で音が方向転回した。個人的には好きなのだがボサっぽい音もあったり、R&Bファンには少し物足りない出来だったのでは。。そして待望のニューアルバム到着!何曲か聴いたがかなりよし!なんと説明したらいいか言葉が見つからないが、一枚目と二枚目が合わさった、クリスタルサウンドというか。。#5hey nowはremixも含めてかなりいいけど、特に聴いてて鳥肌が立ったのは#3。もう最高です。音を作っている夫のdred scottセンス良すぎ。全曲完璧。マストCDです。

１９９７年。「Love Is All Around」での感動が忘れられない。神々しいまでに伸びやかで透明感のある歌声はまさに女神が降臨したかのようだった。それから月日が経つこと１０余年。僕の記憶では本作は彼女の３ｒｄアルバムにあたるはず。類稀なる才能がありながら寡作のまま「知る人ぞ知る」的存在になってしまったのは残念だが，今も美しい歌声は健在だ。
天にも昇るほど夢見心地でクールなアップテンポ「Hey Now」，クールで何処となくセンチメンタルなメロディーで小粋にステップを踏む「All For Love」，真夜中の静寂を想起させる幻想的な「Calling Me」の冒頭３曲の出来が素晴しい。中盤ならホーンセクションを起用したジャジーで洒落た雰囲気のバラード「Blue Bird」に，南の島でくつろいでいるかのようなリラックス・ムードの「Never Knew」か。エンディングのタイトル曲は，遠雷とスコールをバックに流れるアコースティック・バラード。こちらもクールで申し分ない。
地味ではあるが，素直に感動できる心地良い歌が堪能出来る１枚。
