とてつもなく歌唱力があるわけではない二人だけど、いい感じに肩の力の抜けた歌い方が好きです。
私は「たららん」のふんわりした歌い方がパフィらしくて一番のお気に入りなのですが、やっぱり「アジアの純真」「愛のしるし」「渚にまつわるエトセトラ」「これが私の生きる道」は名曲ですよね。あらためてカラオケで歌いたくなってしまいました。
「働く男」もパフィが歌うと全然違う雰囲気になって好きです。
カネボウのＣＦ曲の「オトメモリアル」まで入っているところに非常にお得感を感じます。

パフィーのパフィーらしさがいっぱいつまったＣＤだと思います。

ＳＵＮＲＩＳＥも、
ＪＯＩＮＩＮＧ　Ａ　ＦＡＮＣＬＵＢも、
あたらしい日々も入ってないなんて！収録曲リストを見た瞬間に「えええーっ」と固まってしまった。自分の好みと世間の評価がここまで違うとは。海外のアルバムにのみ収録された「憂い　−ＵＲＥＩ−」も聞きたかったなあ。

特にアルバム「５９」からの収録曲を増やしてほしかったです。５９は大傑作でありながらＣＣＣＤだったため売上が全く振るわなかった、埋もれた名盤。「FRIENDS　FOREVER」にはいくつか違う歌詞のバージョンがあるけど、これも５９に収録されていた「SO　LONG　ZERO」が一番かっこいいと思う。これに収録されなかったことで５９が埋もれることが決定付けられたように思える。うう。

正直言うと、もう初期のまったりした曲は入れなくていいんじゃないかと思う。初期のベスト版は既にあるわけだし。最近の英詞曲を中心にセレクトすれば「ＰＵＦＦＹは昔奥田民生の曲を歌ってた人」としか認識してない人はびっくりするだろう。
あるいは、初期と後期でがらっと作風が変わるので、いっそのこと二枚組「民生ディスク」「アンディ・スターマーディスク」に分けるとか。

ジャケットはいつも通り美しいので大好きだけど。うーん、なんだか残念…。

新曲とファンのリクエストで構成されているだけあって、今までのアルバムを持っている人にとっても魅力的な作品が並んでいます。
ボーナストラックの「Basket Case」は、著作権の関係でＤＶＤには収められなかった音源。
改めて聞くと、PUFFYってこんなに歌うまかったんだ！と思いました。
PUFFYの快進撃が止まらない。
