コンボイのリペイントなので、商品仕様としては同様。
塗装やマーキングはきれいです。プロポーション(アメコミ版準拠)もよく、も派手なポーズが決まるしで大変満足度は高いです。
肘にリボルテックジョイントの軸が突き抜けていますが、付属の白いジョイントセットのものと交換してやると目立ちにくくなります。

　タカラトミーやハスブロのトランスフォーマーのトイって、トランスフォームさせる時、壊れそうな気がして怖い時があります。特に、ジョイントなんかが。
　可動範囲がかなりいいマスピシリーズでも、ガシガシ遊ぶとマグナスの綺麗な塗装が剥げ始めるのも悲しいですし。そもそも、グレードが高い筈のマスターピースのウルトラマグナスでも、コアの白コンボイのみのマグナスをマグナスたらしめているあのトレーラーパーツが無いということで、ファン心理的には満たされないトイですよね。しかも、あれはお値段もかなりいいです。

　そんなタカラトミーさんのマスピマグナスに対する仕打ちが腹に据えかねている人は、　海洋堂さんがリボルテックシリーズでコンボイ通常カラー版とリカラー版（つまりアメコミ系ウルトラマグナス）を出したと聞き、白赤両方、買ってしまった訳ですね。変形も出来ないし、トレーラーも付いてこないのに。何故か、同シリーズのパトレイバーのグリフォンも一緒に買っていますけど。
　グリフォンとマグナスを比較すると...
　グリフォンのジョイントパーツの方が動きがスムーズ。特に足の動きの違いが大きいです。手などのジョイントの着脱にもかなり影響しています。
　グリフォンのジョイントパーツの方がデザイン的にも配慮されている。
　遊んだりすることを前提に考えると、自立、バランスの具合は、ジョイントのかみ合い具合のおかげもあって、矢張りグリフォンが上だと思いますが、何故か、グリフォンに補助スタンドがついてきている。（のに、リボルテックＴＦにはスタンドが無い！！）
　頭部パーツも、他の方がおっしゃるようにコンボイorマグナスには、ネックジョイント部のギミックがありません。それほどロボットトイ同士の頭部交換にハマっている訳ではありませんが、ＴＦ以外のリボルテックシリーズにこのギミックが搭載されているのなら、なんとなく複雑な心境です。
　ジョイントの交換も、手の交換に限って言えば、最初からパーになっているグリフォンの方が、グーのマグナスよりはるかに楽です。
　カラーリングは、手乗りサイズのトイながら、かなり丁寧ではないかと思います。特にマグナスの胸部フロントウィンドウの部分がグラデーションがかっているのが好きですね。

　そんな訳で、マスピと比べるとサイズ＆お値段的に可愛いので買いやすいリボルテックなマグナストイですが、グリフォンと比べると...お値段もちょっとする場合が多いですよね。それなのに、なんかグリフォンの方が完成度が高いような気がする〜！！というのは...ＴＦファンとして悲しいかも。

リボルテック買ったのは三つ目。
このシリーズは写真もですが、基本ポーズが８０年代のアニメで流行ったポージ
ングだと、今更に思う（大張作画や、スタジオＮＯ１、Ｚ５系の）。これは好き
嫌いがあるのでは？

このウルトラマグナスは足の部分の可動が硬い。動かす時に大丈夫・？と不安で、
そ〜っと動かしました。
腕の間接はリボルバーでなく、ユルユル。
写真では腰が動く印象でしたが、実物の腰は一体成型。
胸部分が可動するのです。
ウルトラ・はオマケで、リボルバージョイントがセットで１０個付き。これはお得
なので、購入のポイントですね。
カーキャリアーは付いてませんが・・。
