日本同様アメリカでもこのアルバムに関して意見がわかれている。グラミー賞を含む多くの評価を受けた全2作に対して、内外のファンは相当の期待を込めて、このアルバムを待っていたはずです。でも、結果としてそれほど良くないと考えている方が圧倒的に多いのも事実でしょう。しかし、良く考えてください。第一作「Come Away With Me」がリリース直後に聞いてみた方は憶えているかと思いますが、「これってジャズ？それともカントリー？」などと不思議なノラの音楽に惹かれていったものでした。どうしても、今回は前例との比較となりますので失望感が漂ってしまうのではないか。私はもう何度もこのアルバムを聴いていますが。だんたんとノラの魅力が見えてきています。特に「Thinking About You」「My Dear Country」「Rosie's Lullaby」などは私は好きですね。ただ、アメリカではすでに発売されているDVD4曲が入っているデラックス盤が日本でも来月リリースされますので、価格的なこともあるがどっちが良いかは考えたほうが無難でしょう。視聴だけではノラの音楽を理解することは困難ですよ。

「癒す」とか「癒される」とかを必要以上に重要視すると、間違いなく過去の作品より「濃い作品」になっている
本作の良さを見逃してしまうと思うんだけど.....。
ＪＡＺＺＹでオシャレな雰囲気タップリのデビュー作に思い入れのある方には期待はずれであろう事は安易に想像がつく。
きっと、ノラの過去の楽曲を知らない人が聴いたら素直に入ってくるんだろうなと思う。
聴くたびに、力強い「ノラ」の歌声と自己主張が感じられる本作は、一番のお気に入りの作品です。

レビューを見て賛否両論あり少し迷いましたが
聞きたい欲が勝ってしまい購入。
やっぱりいいよ！
世界的ヒット、ツアー、プロモーション、様々なコラボレート、リトルウィリーズ…
そんな中で一息ついて製作された一枚。
やっぱりフォーク、カントリー色が強いかな。
金延幸子を彷彿とさせる瞬間もあり…。
こんなノラも、私は好きです。
