ＰＳ２用として購入したのですが、質感もよくノイズの乗りもないので
安心して使うことができました。メタルのコネクタは手触りがよく、
実際は最初にテレビに挿すときにしか触れないのですが、ついつい触って
しまいます。テレビ側のＤ端子入力が少なく、毎回取り外しをしている方
だったら、絶対にこのタイプのコネクタの方が良いと思います。
ただ、ＰＳ３ユーザーで、ＨＤＭＩ端子を搭載したテレビを持っている方は、
これよりもずっと安い値段で、画質も音質も良いＨＤＭＩケーブルを購入
できるので、そちらを使用することをお勧めします。
ＰＳ２用でならば間違いなく、最良の選択肢といえます！

ＳＣＥのＤ端子ケーブルが売り切れなのでこれを買いましたが、結果的には非常に満足しています。まだＨＤＭＩ端子つきのディスプレイを使用していないので、Ｄ３対応の３６インチブラウン管ＴＶ（ＫＶ−３６ＤＺ９００）に接続しています。ＰＳ３側の映像出力設定で480i,720p,1080iが可能なので、十分高画質です。PLAYSTATION@StoreでダウンロードできるＨＤビデオも高画質で鑑賞できます。

PS2 PS3共用です
今まではブラウン管テレビとPS2をS端子で接続して充分綺麗な画像でしたが、最近フルハイビジョンテレビにS端子でつないだところ
画面全体がモッサリというかピントボケのよいうな画像になりがっかり
少しでも綺麗な画像になればと思いD端子ケーブルを購入しました
つないでみてびっくり!今までのブラウン管で見てた画像と何ら変わらない鮮明画像にもどりました
フルハイビジョンとPS2だからブラウン管でやってたようにはならないかなと諦めていましたが、本当にほとんど違いが感じないくらいに同等な画像になりますので安心して購入されるといいですよ(レグザの37インチフルハイビジョン)
ケーブル自体も抜けなど心配なく接続部もしっかり差し込め大満足です
S端子とD端子で悩んでいて、しかもPS2を現役で使用するなら間違いなく交換するだけの意味はあります
