ディズニーチャンネルオリジナルムービー「ハイスクール・ミュージカル」でガブリエラ役を演じたヴァネッサ・ハジェンズのデビューアルバム日本盤です。
日本盤はボーナストラックを4曲収録していて輸入盤よりもいいです。（輸入盤もボーナストラック付きの物がいろいろありますが、1曲か2曲の収録です。）
また、ジャケットも日本盤の笑顔の方がいいです。
輸入盤よりも値段が高いですが、日本盤をお勧めします。

私もDisney ChannelでHigh School Musicalを見て出演者にはまった口です。
映画の中でもVanessaはずば抜けて歌が上手かったので期待していました!日本での発売は少し遅かったので色々探して前から聞いていましたが日本版買いました!!
このアルバムを一言で言うと"今っぽい"感じですね。POPだけどいろんな要素が含まれてて聞きやすいし、バラードも素敵です。
個人的には#5:Let's Dance,#6:Drive,#8:Promise,#14:Drip Dropが好きです♪

ヴァネッサの声は本当にきれいです。
圧倒されるような歌声ではありませんがとても心が癒され落ち着きます。
曲も馴染みやすいＲ＆Ｂナンバーが多く
ＨＩＧＨ　ＳＣＨＯＯＬ　ＭＵＳＩＣＡＬのサントラが気に入った人にも
楽しめるものになっていると思います。
