   単なる戦闘ではなく、宗教紛争や新大陸への遠征、防衛隊の強化、異教徒改宗のための宣教師派遣など、さまざまな政策を行うのもプレイヤーの役目。歴史上のさまざまな人物や事件がイベントとして展開され、プレイヤーの選択次第では歴史の流れを変えることもできる。プレイできる国は180ヶ国以上で、政略図やグラフなど侵略に便利なツールも多数搭載。戦略ゲーム好きの人はもちろん、中世を舞台にした物語が好きな人にも楽しめるはず。（三井貴美子）

このゲームは爽快感やビジュアルの派手さはほとんど無く、ただひたすら国家の運営をちまちまこなしていくというゲームです。
戦争を続ければ国内に反乱が起こって国際社会を敵に回し、かといって領土を増やさないといつまで経っても財政赤字は減らない。こういった妙にリアルなジレンマを好意的に受け取れる人にはおすすめできます。

国内では以前あまり幸せとはいえない紹介をされてしまった本作ですが
ついに「本物」が完全日本語版として登場ですね。

イングランド・スペインで海洋帝国を築いたり
プロイセンでドイツを統一したり
オスマン帝国で西欧を蹂躙したりはもちろんのこと、
ビザンツ帝国でローマ帝国を復興したり
グラナダ（ナスル朝）でイベリア半島を再征服したり
聖ヨハネ騎士団でエルサレム王国を復活させたり
ムガールでインドに覇を唱えたり
インカ帝国でスペインに逆襲したりなどなど
世界史ネタ好きのいろんな夢を試せます。

アジアチャプターズと比べて雰囲気変わったなー、が第一印象でした。
ちゃんとマルチゲームにも対応しています。
そして重要なのが、音楽流れない方は、2ちゃんねる及びwikiを調べて下さい。
まったくサイバーフロントのおちゃめさんっ。
とにかくシミュレーション好きな方にはおすすめの作品です。
