ムーミンの生みの親、トーベ・ヤンソンが51歳から77歳までの夏に暮らしたクルーヴ島の小屋に、
実際に二泊して取材した、ていねいな特集です。ムーミンの誕生秘話がいくつも書かれています。
トーベが鉛筆で描いた漫画版ムーミンのラフスケッチも、初めて見ることができました。
表紙の写真は、その小屋の本棚で見つけた箱で、富士山の絵葉書も入っていたそうです。

高校生時代、夢中で読んだ「コロボックル物語」の佐藤さとるさんにも、思いがけずお会いできて懐かしく、
｢だれも知らない小さな国」を私家版で出版されたのが、私の生まれた年とわかり感動しました。
この二人の「ひとりの時間を大事にする作家」の特集だけでも、私には十分に「永久保存版」です。
｢どんなときも手を動かし、考えつづけていれば、夢想はいつか現実になる」
横浜にひっそりとお住まいの、御年78歳の「せいたかさん｣（佐藤さとるさん）に教わったそうです。

ムーミンとコロボックル、また全巻読み返してみたいと思ってしまいました。

ムーミンの著者トーベ・ヤンソンさんが実際に生活していた場所を訪れて、物語とリンクさせているのはなかなかありません。著者と関わった人のコメントもあるのがグッドです。
私はムーミンコミックスしか読んだことがないのですが、著者の他の作品も見たくなりました。
今回は、意外と教えてくれる人もいない黒豆の作り方も載ってるし保存版ですね。

大好きなムーミンを描いた、トーベヤンソンさんにぐっと近づいた特集が魅力的。
フィンランドの暮らし、ヤンソンさんの暮らし。そして、ムーミン達の暮らし。
この特集を読んでから、ムーミン童話を読んでみると、また新しい発見ができそうです。
ムーミンママのハンドバックの中身も公開？！
