バラードのシングルは、2004年の「明日へ架ける橋」以来です。バラードのシングルを待ちに待っていたファンも多いと思います。
T1：「白い雪」の作曲は、大野愛果。10月28日のツアーファイナルで披露されたようですが、涙を誘う非常に切ない歌詞で、聴いた人の間でもかなり評判が良いようです。コーラスには、大野愛果とお馴染みのマイケル・アフリックが参加するそうです。レコーディングに当たっては、スタッフが「鳥肌が立った」とコメントしていますので、出来はかなり期待できそうです。発売までに、更に磨かれることでしょう。
T2：「想いの先に...」の作曲は、久々のYoko Blaqstone。おそらくR&Bナンバーでしょう。
倉木麻衣の透明感ある声質には、バラードがよく似合います。毎回思うことですが、彼女のバラード曲の完成度の高さは素晴らしいものがあります。最近のシングルは、アップテンポのものが多かったので、今作では倉木麻衣の持ち味が存分に発揮されるのではないでしょうか。

アップテンポが続いたので久々のバラード作品

倉木さんはバラード調が似合いと思いました。

c/wも渾身の一曲です

ニューシングル発売決定！すごくうれしいです！この曲は2006年ライブツアー、DIAMOND WAVEで後半の公演で披露されたそうです。私が行ったのはライブ初日だったので残念ながら聞くことはできませんでしたが、後半ライブで聞かれた方々の評価は最高でした。久々のバラードで、この冬を代表する1曲になると私は思います。沢山の苦労と辛い気持ちを持ちつつも、常に笑顔と優しさを忘れない麻衣ちゃんは、シンガーとしても1人の女性としても絶大な魅力をもっており、今回もすばらしい歌声と音楽を届けてくれます。そして、今回のニューシングル『白い雪』というタイトルからは優しさと温かさを感じます。今冬最高の1曲になってほしいという期待と希望を込めて5つ星評価にさせていただきます。
