理屈抜きで、胸にキュンとくる感じを味わえました。ボーカルの山田さんの歌声が、余計なものが削ぎ落とされていて、素直にさらっと唄っていることと、特にイントロ〜Aメロが良いです。昔ほど純粋で剥き出しな感じが味わえないな…と思っていた方も、名曲とまでは言えませんが、イントロを聴いた瞬間に「おっ!」と思うはずです(多分)。カップリングではまた新境地を開拓しています。初回盤限定収録の新曲「舞姫(仮)」は、バックホーンきたー!という感じです。格好良いです。

うーん、なんかTHE BACK HORNらしくない感じです。

アルバム"太陽の下の生活"からなにか変わった感覚はありましたが、このシングルを聴いて確信しました。

この変化は良くも悪くも聴く人次第であると思われますが、僕は少し寂しいです。

初期のTHE BACK HORNの触ればすぐ砕けて壊れてしまうかのような脆さ。狂気にのまれて、もがきながらも強く生きている。それでいて凶悪なメロディーの中にも随所随所に優しさが滲み出ている。
そんな複雑で重い。だけど聴けば聴くほど彼らのことを理解できて、理解したくなって、何度も何度も聴きたくなってくる。

中毒性のある麻薬みたいなバンドだった。

話はかなりずれましたが、このシングル。

一曲目、"声"は疾走感のあるギターが特徴的です。やはりベースもいい仕事してます。
しかしメロディーや曲展開が普通のどこにでもあるバンドのようで意外性等はありません。まぁ普通にかっこいいですが。

二曲目、三曲目は、うーんと言った感じ。あまり集中して聴いていないのでそのせいかも知れませんが。

四曲目、"舞姫"初回しか収録してません。
僕は聴いたことない曲でしたがギターかっこいいです。この曲好きです。最初なんかウケた笑
