イージュー★ライダーが発売されて１１年、我が家に子供が生まれて１０年。私が３０になったばかりの頃にこの曲を聞いた気持ちは、年齢を重ね、子供が成長すると共に少しずつ変わりました。しかし、あの頃に感じていた「２０代の遊び心を忘れたくない自分」と「３０代になり社会に入り込むためにおっさんにならなければならない自分」の矛盾をこの曲を聞くたびに思い出します。そして、この曲のお蔭で私は少しだけ遊び心を残しておっさんになり、今は子供にとって「ちょっと粋なとーちゃん」になるための努力を続けています。ボブディランのエッセンスを感じる曲調が最高なだけでなく、この歌詞のパワーは私に大きな影響を残しました。日本のロックの名曲と呼ばれる日を楽しみにしながら、私はこれからも年をとっていきたいと思っています。そんな魅力たっぷりの曲がアルバムの最後を締めくくります！！

記念ライダー１号・２号とも買って聴いてます。
どっちも毎日リピートですが、２号の方が好きな曲がいっぱいです☆
「マシマロ」の最後のオチや、「MANY」ののんびりゆったり感で人生なんとかなるかなぁ？とか、「CUSTOM」のエチオピアまで行っちゃうとこや・・・・・いろんな民生ワールドがあって、聴きごたえ充分です！

常にマイペースで自分の好きなことだけだらだらやってそうなＯＴですが、ホントはライブ前、めっちゃ緊張してるとこや自分が楽しんでやることでお客さんも楽しませてること、人間的に魅力いっぱいの人ですね〜ＯＴ。

１号・２号とも彼の音楽初心者には、じっくり聴けてはまれること間違いないと思います。

二枚同時発売のうち、
こちらの「記念ライダー２号」はカタカナ・英語タイトル曲が入っています。

１号に比べるとこちらの方がまったりたる〜い感じです。
聴いていて気持ちいいのはこっち。
私はこっちの方が好きです。

ソロデビューアルバム「29」を意識したようなジャケット。
よく見ると戦隊ヒーローっぽい手袋をはめてる・・・。
この細かい演出が笑いを誘います。

この2枚で改めて奥田民生の歩んできた道を振り返り、
自分は民生の≪かんばらないけどがんばってるとこ≫が好きなんだと再確認。
のんびりしてるように見えるけど、ちゃんと考えてる。似合わないことはしない。

「だめな僕を気にしない　ひげのびても気にしない」、それでいいの。

だって人生なんて、
「スカイウォーカー」や「イージュー★ライダー」みたいなカンジで
過ごしていた方が案外幸せなのかもしれないもん。

私にとって、
奥田民生はもしかしたら生き方のバイブルかもしれません。
