1982年発表の6作目。
それまでモノクロのジャケットが続いていましたが、本作はうってかわってカラフルなジャケットで、
当時レコード店の新譜コーナーでは、ひときわ目立っていた記憶があります。
「黒のクレール」「色彩都市」等の前半4曲は、東京で坂本龍一と、
「風の道」「夏色の服」等の後半6曲は、パリでジャン・ミュジーとの共同作業で
それぞれレコーディングされ、このアルバムは完成しました。
いわゆる「ヨーロピアン3部作」の最終作にあたりますが、曲が粒ぞろいな上にアレンジも素晴らしく、
彼女にとって一つの到達点であると同時に、その後の活動の基点となった、重要な作品といえるでしょう。
今回再発された紙ジャケット仕様のアルバム6枚は、どれもおすすめなのですが、
どうしてもどれか1枚に絞らなくてはならないとしたら、まずは、この作品をおすすめします。

紙ジャケ化の楽しみの一つとして、最新の本人のライナーが掲載される（ことがある）というのがありますが、
今回のター坊の紙ジャケにも書き下ろしライナーが掲載されています。
clicheのライナーはパリでのレコーディングのエピソードが中心ですが、当時なかなか人と話ができず苦労したとか、
帰国の際、重さ15kgもある録音テープを預けられ、ワインの1本も買ってこられなかったとか･･･、
そんなエピソードを読むにつけ、天才ミュージシャン大貫妙子もやっぱり人の子なんだなぁ･･･と、
微笑ましくなってしまいました。
CDはすでに持っていましたが、このライナーだけでも買い直す価値がありました。
