楽曲でも定評のあるサーカス。そのボーカル曲を一挙１２トラック収録です。
同２以降のゲームである『最終試験くじら』、『すくみず２』、『ＡＲ』、『終の館』
『Ｄ．Ｃ．２』等から収録。こういったベスト版でないと集めるのは苦労するはずです。
中でもこのＣＤの直後に発売となる『Ｃｉｒｃｕｓ　Ｄｉｓｋ−Ｃｈｒｉｓｔｍａｓ　Ｄａｙｓ−』の
テーマソング『サンタクロースに予約して！』も先行収録しています。
ランティスの超精鋭陣であるyozuca*さん、rinoさん、橋本みゆきさん、美郷あきさんのカルテット！
豪華過ぎます。勿論曲も最高です。時期もジャストですしね。
ゲームファンの方だけでなく、アーティスト名にピンと来た方は迷わず買いましょう。

最初は買う予定はなかったこのCD。
しかし、収録曲にC.D.C.D.のグランドOPテーマ「サンタクロースに予約して!」が入っているということなので購入を決めました。
この曲はクリスマスソングなのですが、テンポがよく、とても楽しい気分にさせてくれる曲です。
歌っているのもサーカスを代表する方々なので文句なしです。
デモムービーを見て、フルで聴きたくなったという方は購入を考えられてもいいかと思います。

自分的にはシングルで発売して欲しかったのですが、仕方ないですね(^^;

今回のアルバムは、主として「主題歌集」ではなく「挿入歌集」である。1、2とはコンセプトが多少変わっているゆえ、D.C.||やAR、くじら等のズバリ『主題歌ベスト版』を待ち望んでいた人の期待を見事に裏切ったラインナップである。

確かに、新作の「C.D.C.D」のOP等、サーカス作品に精通した人が聞けば感涙ものの曲ばかりだろうが、しかしそれだけで「サーカスのボーカルコレクション」とは到底言えないだろう。散在する曲をまとめて聞ける機会とはいえ、有名作品(特に今年)の主題歌らしい主題歌が少ないのは問題ありだ。「あさきゆめみし〜」や「あしたを許して」など、今年はそれなりの曲がたくさんあったはずだ。旧作では、ディアノイアが入っているが、riyaではなくrinoによる歌い直しがされている。最近美郷あきのアルバムが出たとはいえ、モンタージュもない。アーティストの都合もあるのだろうが、これは出し惜しみのしすぎとしか言いようがない。
これはこれでそれなりなアルバムではあるが、3枚中なら一番聞き劣りしそうである。

そもそも、今年のサーカスはあまりパッとしなかった。
特に、D.C.||は設定があまりにも付け焼き刃的なおかつ、スタッフの唐突な変更による急激な変化ゆえ、特別心ひかれるものを感じなかった方もいるのではないか。話題にはなったが、「D.C.||」という名前だけが一人歩きし、肝心の内容の評価はそう良いとは言えない。

旧PCゲーム作品の大量アニメ化ゆえ、今年はPCゲームの著しいヒットはなかった気がする。

Overflowは大失態を再び起こし、egoはネタ切れにより作品を使い回し、ついには大手ねこねこの解散等――。

ややもすると、サーカスもこうなるのかもしれない…
