言わずと知れた、ポカリスエット。
この甘さは健康な時にはちょっとつらいのですが、風邪を引いたときには
これほどおいしいものが無いと思えるほど、体に染み込みます。

元々は、医師が手術などで忙しい時に生理食塩水を補給していたのを
一般向けに製品化したのがこのポカリ。
さすがに、長く変わらない味ですが、病気の時には一番、胃への負担も
少なく、本当に頼りになる飲み物です。

これからの季節、風邪対策に常備したいですね。

ガキの頃、まだこのような半透明のアイソトニック飲料が全く普及していなかった頃、親戚のばあちゃんの病院に見舞いに行く途中、道端の自販機に、何やら渋くて大人っぽい青色の缶にでかい英字で”PO･･･”何とかって書かれていたのを、今でもはっきりと覚えています。
多分これは、”大人専用”の飲み物で恐ろしく苦くて不味いんだろうなあと思いつつ、好奇心から、「お母さんこれ買って。」と頼み、その一口目を飲んだ時の衝撃は今でも忘れられません。
「う、うめえ〜！？ナンじゃこりゃ？？」でした。当時私らガキどもが飲むものといえば、”甘いだけのジュース”か、”お茶か水”でした。ですから、この程よい甘さで、余分なものが一切無く、体に吸い込まれるような完璧な飲み物に驚愕したのだと思います。
この製品を原点として、色んなアイソトニック飲料が誕生しているようですが、”原点”としては、やっぱこれなんですよね。最初につくった人･･･ホント偉いですよ。

スポーツをした後はもちろんお風呂上り、寝起き、風邪を引いた時など体の水分が汗となって出た場合には水分を取る必要があります。
ポカリスエットは体の水分に近い成分なので普通の水を飲むより体への吸収が速いんですね。そういう理由もあってポカリはオススメできます。
味が甘すぎ、濃すぎと言った場合にはポカリ：水を7：3くらいで割ると良いです。
