doaの8枚目のシングルです。
この曲はズバリ泣かせの曲です。イントロから一気に曲の世界に入り込めました。doaの特徴であるコーラス も健在です。
USENのヒットチャートでも上位に入るなど話題沸騰中です。街で聞いたことある方も多いと思います。
カップリングの2曲も聞けば聞くほどいいです。
とにかくオススメです。

｢ヒノトリノヨウニ｣の頃から、全曲楽しく聞かせてもらっています。
｢心のリズム　飛び散るバタフライ｣の前シングルが、
有線などでしばし騒がれるようになりなによりですが、
彼らの実力はもっと受け入れられていいとも思うわけで。

doaの曲をはじめて耳にしたのはニュース番組｢すぽると｣内の、
F１シーンかなにかの挿入歌としてで、当時はとにかくかっこいい曲だなぁっていう印象でした。
それから紆余曲折あり、doaの曲にはかっこよい爽快さに加え、
｢しっとりとした情景｣を魅せる力が備わってきたように思います。
その集大成がこのシングルではないでしょうか。

前曲は今までのシングルと比べて、
比較的大人しめの聞き入らせる曲だったのですが、
今作はそれにもまして歌詞のつながりが意識されているように感じました。
これも新しい｢doa｣なのでしょう。

歌詞を見ながら、彼らの重厚に彩られた声に耳を傾けると、
｢今はまだ日の目を見ていないかもしれない。
それでもいつか、彼らならやってくれるはずだ。｣
という確信がこみ上げてきました。

これからも新しい｢doa｣が見られることを楽しみにしています。

doaのコーラス・ワークは、まさに和製イーグルス。
３人の声の融和は息が止まるほど美しいです！
これまでアルバム曲の「Siren」「自転車少年」のみで
リード・ボーカルをとっていた徳ちゃんが、シングル初のリード・ボーカル。
この曲は徳ちゃんで大正解！素晴らしい出来です。

売れ線狙いを臭わせるBEINGにおいて、70年代のウエスト・コースト・ロックを
思わせる自由な作風のdoa。
売れ線狙いじゃないけど、日本人の琴線にそっと触れていく美メロは
必聴です。。
