個人的に、待ち焦がれていたalaの1stフルアルバム。
今年中に出るとは思っていなかったので嬉しい限りです。

前２作から新録で収録のM-6・12（特に「Point of view」は、一層洗練
されたアレンジになってます）や新曲の歌モノ8曲はもちろん、インスト・
インタルードのM-7・10・13に至るまで、余すところなくalaテイスト全開。
とにかくスタイリッシュでグルーヴィー。何度もリピートしたくなる心地
良さです。
ロック的な部分とスカ的な部分のバランスも相変わらず絶妙で、幅広い
層を取り込める魅力を持っていると思います。

ただ、既にほぼ完成されたスタイルを持っているバンドなので、前２作から
ある程度想像のつく内容ではあると思います。サプライズのようなものは、
あまり感じませんでした。
尤も、今のままで充分魅力的なので、無理に変化を求める必要はないと
私は思いますけどね。

ともかく、私の中では間違いなく2006年で五指に入る１枚です。

個人的ベストトラックはM-5「Swinging Love」。

スキャフルキングっぽいバンドだなぁと今まで思っていましたが、今回のアルバムで一皮向けたような感じがします。
聞いているだけでもう本と踊りたくなっちゃう感じです。
リズムとかアレンジも非常にこっててpoit of viewも
今回のバージョンとかとってもかっこいいです。
結構リフレインの曲が多いような気がしますが
メロディーが相当生かすので、全く　しつこいと感じません。

それと彼らはライブもサイコーに生かしています。演奏もうまいし。
このアルバム聞いて気に入った方はライブに行くことお勧めします。
CDだけ聞いて満足ってのはかなりもったいないです

今までのCDに比べ確実にala独自のSoundが確立してきている。また前回までは上手く歌おうとする感じが出てきてしまい不自然な所も観られたが今回それがなくとても聴きやすかった。それはまさに今の彼等がそのまま自然に曲の中に表れているということだと思う。さらに彼等の歌や楽器のスキルアップがハッキリと感じとれる作品になっていて正直その成長ぶりにはかなり驚いた。また歌詞本にも日本語訳が載せてあったり、今までのイメージとは違うジャケットに仕上がっていたりと歌以外にも驚きがあった。これからも大いに期待できるバンドだと思います。alaにしか出せないSoundがこのアルバムにたくさん詰まってます!13曲で2500円と値段も手の出しやすい方だとおもうので、聴いてみてはいかがでしょ〜か?
