ソニーインフォメーションに問い合わせてみました。
販売は続けるとの事です。私も欲しいので安心しました。
PS3の20、60GBと一緒に製造、販売中止になったのかと心配しましたが、
もう少ししたら定価で購入できそうです。
どちらにせよ早めに手に入れようと思ってます。

　PS3ユーザーに朗報です。

　2007年5月24日のシステムソフトウェアVer1.80へのアップデートによって、PS/PS2ソフトの
セーブデータをPS3HDDからPS2メモカへコピーすることが可能になりました。

　PS/PS2/DVDソフトのフルHD解像度へのアップコンバートも実現したし、
PS3に明るい希望が見え始めました。

　とにかく、メモカアダプタを買ったことが無駄にならなくて良かったです。

過去のPSプラットフォームのセーブデータをPS3に持ち込みます。
私はこれを買った後に箱の裏に「メモリーカードに書き込むことはできません」を発見し不安がよぎりました。

しかしPS3のシステムアップデートを行うことでデータの行き来が可能になりました。

これで晴れて必須アイテムとなったとさ。
しかしソニーに限らず周辺機器は高いです。このアダプターは現在は利用価値が高いのですからよりリーズナブルな価格であって欲しかったです。
