U2のシングル集ですが、代表曲を網羅してるのでU2入門に最適だと思います。
あとポップで聴きやすいから洋楽入門にも最適ですね。新曲が２曲入ってますが
グリーンデイとのコラボはともかく、最後のWindow In The Skiesは素晴らしいの
でファンの方もこの１曲の為に是非。

ファンには王道な曲ばかりで多少物足りない選曲かもしれない。しかし普通に聴くなら十分すぎる一枚。前ベスト二枚の中でも特に評価の高い曲(有名曲)を集結、そこに新曲を絡めてスッキリさせた一枚という感じ。入門者には既に出てるベスト二枚より値段的にもこっちをオススメしたい。個人的には安価な輸入盤がオススメ。歌詞カードもしっかりしたものが付属しているのが嬉しい。和訳を見たい方は少々高価な国内盤を。初回のDVD同梱盤もかなり良いが、値段が高くパッケージがデカイのでファン向け。金銭的に余裕があるなら初回盤でもいい、ただ一般の方は通常盤で十分だろう。手軽な値段で気軽にU2をCD一枚でたっぷりと楽しめる見事なベスト盤。U2の名曲はほぼ網羅されていると言っても過言ではない。買って損はないと断言できる。些細な欲を言うなら「I Will Follow」を入れて欲しかった程度か。

いまさらですが、ベストなベスト盤です。
完璧ではないですが、U2の王道的な歴史の振り返りと言えるでしょう。
選曲その他については十分述べられてると思うので、その他の部分で。

まず全ての曲の歌詞が載せられている。これは良いです。
メッセージ性の強い彼らの歌は、言葉抜きには聴けません。
それから細かいところでは、それぞれの曲のデータがしっかり記されてあるところ。
１曲１曲、レコーディングが行われたスタジオの名前と、リリースされた年がタイトルの横に載っています。
そして、それぞれの曲を出した当時の物と思われる写真が載っています。
これを見るだけでも彼らの歴史を感じることができます。

それにしてもギターのカッティング、気持ちよいですねえ。
