12012のCDは大体集めたが、今でもベルサレムが一番良いという気持ちは変わらない。
曲数の割に値段がちょっと…と思われがちだが(つか俺も思ったが)、好む人にとっては決して高くは無いと思う。

程良く重苦しい曲調にVo.の少し擦れ気味な声質(歌い方)が見事に合っていて、PLAY DOLL'S(だったと思うが)と共に四六時中流しているお気に入りだ。

因みに、最近の12012が好きな人(ダイヤモンドやMERRY GO WORLD辺り)は、好まないかもしれない。
ナイトメアの咲人作の重ったるい曲なんかが好きな人には、是非お薦めだ。

4.0 out of 5 stars 三ヶ月連続リリースの一作目だった作品　再発, 2006/10/29
再発されるようです。今でも12012で一番よく聞くのはこの時期の作品なので、再発でより多くの人がこの作品に触れるようになるのは嬉しい。
罪を犯し、心を閉ざした少年の妄想が生み出した架空の都市ベルサレムを舞台にした物語を描く三連続リリースミニアルバムの第一作目だった作品。この作品の時点ではまだ主人公の少年は自分がいるベルサレムという都市が自分の妄想で生まれた世界だとは気付いていないよう。三枚のミニアルバムの中ではこの作品が最もバランスが取れているように思う。適度に重苦しく、暗く、疾走感のある曲も落ち着いた曲もあり、そこそこメロディアス（ただし、12012らしいクセのあるメロディーが多い。）
「BURN」は重々しい幕開け。響くシャウト、サビでは絞り出すような歌声。壮大で重厚なラストから間髪入れずに次曲「雨、削ぎ落とされた感覚」が走り出す（このつなげ方が良い）切なくて疾走感ある曲。孤独感と痛みが溢れ出し、冷たい雨の中を泣きながら走っているような気持ちになる。目の見えない少女との出会い。光のない世界にありながらも強く生きていく少女の姿に心を動かされる主人公。「Ms Vampire」は妖艶で歪んだ曲。汚れた欲、邪な感情の全てを肯定し生きる女性と出会う。いっそ彼女のようになられたら…と思う主人公だったが、自分の心が抱える絶望的な空洞を思い知らされるばかり。「epi」はインスト。「un insomnia」は地味だけど気に入ってる曲。あの少女にもう一度会いたい…さまよい続ける主人公。その想いは、現実世界で彼自身が殺してしまった女性への想いと重なる。
