TVアニメ金色のコルダのOP曲として使用されていたもので、
私はこのアニメでこの曲そしてカノンさんを知ったのですが･･･
久々にこんなに綺麗なお声の持ち主を見た気がしました。

凄く綺麗で澄んでいて、伸びもよくて、優しい歌い方･･･
それにメロディーのベースが金色のコルダで重要なキーパーソンとなっていた
「愛のあいさつ」で、物語的にもカノンさんの声質的にも
どこをとっても綺麗にマッチしていてとても素晴らしいと思いました。

カップリング曲もこれとはまた違った雰囲気ではありますが、
綺麗なお声がとても良く印象に残る曲でカップリング曲の方もとても完成度が高いと思います。

よくカップリング曲が好きになれずこのCDを買ったのは失敗だったなっと思う事があるのですが、
今回は全くもって大満足です。これ以上のハイクオリティは他ではないと思います。

１曲目"Brand New Breeze"を聴きたくて購入しましたが、２曲目"The Power"が素晴らしくて買って良かったです。
ちなみにHDCDで収録されていたので音がとてもよかった。
セカンドアルバムの"Sanctuary"もHDCD録音なんでしょうか？
ただ、前の方も書かれておられますが、色々事情があったのでしょうが"Brand New Breeze"の発売日が2006年11月22日で"Sanctuary"の発売日が2006年12月6日なのは私も残念です。
でも、私はカノンさんの歌声、曲の良さ、このシングルへの作りこみに丁重さと意気込みを感じたので評価は★５個をつけました。

曲自体はとても綺麗で、透き通った声もよく合っていると思うのですが、カップリングを含め2曲とも大体2週間後に発売されるアルバムに収録されているというのがちょっと。
この曲だけ聴きたいという人もいるかとは思いますが、さすがにあざとい気がします。
