T.M.R.として10周年を迎えた西川貴教による新バンドプロジェクト"abingdon boys school(アビングドンボーイズスクール)"ついに待望のデビュー!メンバーは、坂本龍一のコンサートツアーや、布袋寅奏のツアーメンバーとしても活動中の岸利至(Keyboard, Programming) 、WANDSの第1期メンバーとしてデビュー、その後は数々の作品で作曲、アレンジなどでも活躍中の柴崎浩(Guitar)、そして、T.M.R.のツアーメンバーとしてはもっとも長く、レコーディングやライブなど、数々のセッションにも参加してきたSUNAO(Guitar)に西川貴教(Vocal)を加えた4名で構成される。これまでT.M.R.というプロジェクトを通じて西川が表現してきたものとは異なる、自由奔放かつオルタナティブロックにも通じるラウドでエッジの立った音楽性、そして圧倒的なライブパフォーマンスが魅力。

TMRじゃなくて、バンドで来ました。ものすごいアガル曲になってます。
以前「TMRの曲は毎回同じ作曲、作詞者で飽きる」との意見を小耳にしたことがありますが。
そんな人には特にオススメできるんじゃないかと思います。きっと度肝抜かれるはず。
自分も少しはそのクチだったので、かなり今回の曲は新鮮でした。
そして声量、迫力のある彼の声を乗せたこの曲は、なんだか気分をスカッとさせてくれますよ。

西川さんのナイスボイスが、こう・・・ぐぐっ、と胸に染み込んでくるような。
ノリが良いのか、はたまたヘビーなのが良いのか・・・
多分そのどちらも兼ね備えているからでしょうか、良いです!
CDで聴くだけで、こんなにカッコイイと胸弾んだのは始めてのことです。
これからに、期待大です。(*^ ^*

これまでに２曲トリビュートアルバムに参加しましたが今回の曲であくまでデビューです。初め聞いたときはキャッチーなサウンドだと思いましたがよくよく聞くとサビの前にカッティングが入ったり、ギターソロもSUNAOさんと柴崎さんの息の合ったツインギターでとてもかっこいいです。ドラムはやはり長谷川さんらしく音量でかめのへヴィなドラムだと思いました。岸さんのキーボードも音を引き立てるように入っていてこれもまたいいです。２曲目のFre@k $HOWもINNOCENT SORROWに比べかなりへヴィで好きです。西川さんのしたい音楽はやっぱりこういうのなんだなと思い、改めて好きになりました。買って損はないと思います！
