くるり好きには是非、聞いてもらいたい一枚。
特に3曲目の「東京タワー」、7曲目の「ハナレバナレ」、最近、同名のアルバムが佐藤（くるりのベーシスト）のレーベル「ノイズマッカートニー」から再販された8曲目「僕らは電気の原始人」、12曲目のくるりの新曲「五月の海」、13曲目の「シャボン玉飛ばない」などの楽曲は必聴。
最初から最後まで気持ちよく聞けるように練られた選曲で、ラストを飾る美しい曲、「after you drew the line」で幸福感でいっぱいの気持ちになれます。

正直に言います。
京都に居ながらみやこ音楽祭に行った事がなかったんです。
京大の講堂で年一回、今年で三回目らしいんだけど．．．
て言うか、知らなかったんです。一生の不覚．．．
ええ、そうです。
自分はくるり（M-12）とキセル（M−7）目当てに買いましたよ。
しかしですね、それ以外の曲にすばらしいのがあるんです。

一曲目、Rosa Luxemburgの『橋の下』。Rosa Luxemburg、知らないでしょう？。自分だけ？
フォーク調ですが歌詞が飛んでるんです。今じゃ放送禁止なんじゃないのってぐらい飛んでます。
どこか初期エレカシの雰囲気をもってます。

三曲目、ママスタジヲの『東京タワー』単調なループの曲の作りなんだけど
これがくるりよりもキセルよりも一番の収穫だった。

もちろんくるりの新曲『五月の海』はやっぱりくるりだし、思いがけない拾い物のアルバムだった。

今年は絶対行こう。
