このCDは「ダンサーインザダーク」という映画のサントラCDです。
アイルランドの歌姫ビョークが主演をつとめ、目の不自由な無名の舞台女優セルマを演じました。映画はミュージカル調の内容で、随所にビョークのすばらしい歌声が響いています。その劇中で歌われた歌をCDに収録したものです。

20歳のころビョークをこの映画で初めて知った私ですが、一瞬で彼女の歌声に魅了されました。彼女の声はまさに唯一無二の宝石です。他にもビョークのCDは聞いてますが、私は初めて知った衝撃もあってこのCDがマイベストですね。
でもこのCDを買うのであれば、まずダンサーインザダークを見ることをお勧めします。サントラってそういうものでしょ。
