5.0 out of 5 stars 悲しい、悲しい、悲しい最期。しかし、これほど心に残る映画はない。観るべき。, 2007/8/29
重い衝撃が胸にくる作品。

盲目になることが運命付けられた主人公は、
自分の息子の手術のために地道に貯金していた。
しかし、隣人とのいさかいにより殺人を起こしてしまい。。。


監督、俳優その他の方々が、
この作品に海よりも深い思い入れを抱き、
魂を込めて作っているのかが痛いほどわかる。

タップを重視した楽しいリズムは、
悲運な運命を楽しげに歌うセルマを
むしろ際立たせる効果を帯びている。

あまりにも悲しい最期に絶句してしまいそうになるが、
同時に拍手を送りたくもなった。

難しく考えさせるというよりは、
観る人の感情に直接訴えかける。

観終わったあとの感情がどんなものであれ、
その深さがこの作品の強さを表している。
それは明らかに本物だ。

今後も語り継がれることは間違いない名作。
間違いない。

誰か本当に愛する人への愛って、自分の命より大切なんだと思う。
主人公がとった選択は、周りに暮らす人にとって正解だったかは分からない。

頑ななまでに純粋に人を思い続ける主人公の態度は感動に値する。
疲れた心の状態を癒してくれる作品。

　セルマの生き様は美しい。ただ、よくある設定ではある。観る人によっては感動するのかもしれない。でも僕はいまいちだった。それだけ。
