真上を泳ぐシルバーアロワナの腹を見上げる…。
真正面から迫ってくるピラルクの顔を眺める…。
このソフトの面白さは、水槽ではなかなか見られないものが見られるところだと思います。

魚は本物そっくりというわけにはいきませんが、いい動きをしています。
大きな魚では、瞬間的に尾を水草が貫通したりすることもありますが、悠然と体をうねらせて泳ぐ様子には見入ってしまいます。

水中風景は、パッケージの印象よりも地味です。
川底に水草が生え、立ち枯れて折れたような古い木が水中に生えていて、水は若干濁った茶色の演出。見る方向によって、水草の多い草原のような部分や、木の多い部分があります。ただ、同じ木のパターンがすぐ近くに並んでいたりするのは残念。

枯淡な風景が好きで、古代魚が好きな方にはおすすめです。
席を立って戻ったとき、スクリーンセーバーがこの画面になっていると、何も焦ることはないという気分になって落ち着きます。

ただし、パソコンはかなり必死に働くことになりますから、事前にスペックを十分確認することをお薦めします。
自分で調べるのが面倒な人は、オフィシャルサイトで無料お試し版（トライアル版）をダウンロードして、自分のパソコンで動くかどうか試してみるといいかもしれません。
