長所も短所も含め、内容はPS2の「2006」とほぼ同じ。シリーズのファンなら安心して楽しめます。
グラフィックは当然綺麗になっていますが、実写的でなく、綺麗なCGといった印象。
非常にストイックなレースゲームなので、初心者には優しくないです。
残念ながら、SONYのFormula Oneシリーズはこれが最後になりそうです。
ミハエル・シューマッハ最後の年、今は無くなってしまったスーパーアグリなど、価値ある一本だと思います。

Ｆ１がＰＳ３に登場。グラフィックもパワーアップし、さらにＡＩドライバーが周回遅れになったときは道を空けてくれるのでレース中は走りやすくなった。しかし、ＡＩドライバーが自分からどいてくれるようになったのはいいものの、抜かれかたが今イチ下手である。追いついたのを確認してから道を譲るといった感じで、プレイヤーは減速せざるを得ない。さらに、ピットイン・ピットアウトするときは自動ではなく、すべて自分で操作するようにしたほうが本当のＦ１ドライバーという実感が湧くはずだと思う。また、レッドフラッグやドライブスルーペナルティを追加してレース中の緊張感も欲しい。もうひとつは、セーフティカーの導入があればゲームの内容に関しては何も言うことはない。

機能の面では、なによりも２Ｐ対戦がないことが非常に残念。まあ、これはグラフィックの都合上仕方ないと思うが・・・。（グラフィックがどうなるかという期待もあったが・・・。）

２Ｐ対戦をお考えのかたはＰＳ２用ソフト「Ｆｏｒｍｕｌａ　Ｏｎｅ　２００６」のほうをお買い求め下さい。

やった感想としては・・非常におもしろかった。
操作に慣れるのには、若干時間は必要だけど、
リッジレーサーやグランツーよりおもしろかった。
グラフィックは綺麗だし、選手やコースがしっかり再現されていて、
非常に良い作品だと思う。

みんなが気にしている
ステアリングコントローラーも使えるし(GTシリーズ)
いいと思う。

ただ、1つ欠点を上げるとすると、文字が小さすぎる。
小さすぎて、画面に目を近づけないと文字が見えないということもある。

この点を除けばほぼ完璧です。
シューマッハが出てくる最後のゲームなので、
是非買うべきだと思います。
