結構ずっしりとくる重量感です。華奢な人(女性)には向かないかもしれません。
裁断も結構コツが要りますので、少し慣れが必要です。最初の切れ目を入れるときは問題ありませんが、２回目に(最初の切れ目に対して)直角に裁断するときに、せっかちにガシガシやってしまうと目詰まりを起こしてしまいます。気を長く持って、ゆっくり楽しむ気持ちで裁断するのが良さそうです。(ハサミの刃の並びが右から左に傾斜している造りを考慮して、右側の刃から左側の刃に徐々に切り進める感じです。私はムーディ勝山の「♪右から左へ...」を口ずさみながら切っています(笑)。「左から右」は無理です。(^o^) )
ちょっと大きめの紙だと、何回かに分けて裁断することになりますので、「これなら卓上シュレッダーの方が早いや」と思う人がいるかもしれません。(安い手動のシュレッダーの方が早いでしょう) まぁ、このハサミの方が置き場所をとらないという意味で便利ですが。
あと、目詰まりを起こした場合、何回かハサミの刃の開閉を行えば大体は解消しますが、爪楊枝などが手元にあれば確実に目詰まりを解消できます。(指を使わないで下さい！危ないですから)

これを選んだのはシュレッダーのように置き場所をとらないことと手軽さゆえ。
使い勝手は、細かく裁断できるところはグッド。カード請求書やあて先など一部のみ裁断すれば十分と言うニードに応えてくれる。
ただし切り方には少しコツが必要で、バサバサ切っていける、という感じではない。
適当に切ると目詰まりしやすいし目詰まりをすると取るのが面倒だ。
なお、刃が９枚あるので、それなりに重い。
こういうアイデア商品的なものは、ともすれば実用性に欠けたりする恐れがあるが、その点は大丈夫でした。

うちには小型手動式のシュレッダーしかないので、封書の宛名だけ裁断したい場合などには最適と思い、なおかつこういったアイデア商品に目がないため購入しました。
非常に細く切れるので、縦横に切ってしまえば完璧です。
しかし、細く切れるということは刃と刃の間が狭いということです。もし少し厚い紙を切ろうとすればとても力がいりますし、刃と刃の間に紙がつまってしまうことも多々あります。
こつをつかめば重宝します。
