シングルカットされた曲『Red High Heels』（1曲目）やアルバム名にもなっている『Small Town Girl』（6曲目）に代表される、ポップで耳障りのいい軽快なカントリーナンバーがたくさん詰まった楽しいアルバムです。
しかし中には、2歳の時に彼女を捨て出て行った母親のことを歌った『I Wonder』（5曲目）や、母親代わりとなって育ててくれたおばあちゃんのことを歌った『My Angel』（11曲目）など、しんみりと心に響いてくるナンバーも含まれていて、彼女の様々な面をしっかりと見せてくれるものになっています。

アメリカンアイドルシーズン5のトップ6ケリー・ピックラーの待望のデビューアルバム!!!!!!!

私はファーストシングル「Red High Heels」しか視聴していませんが、

カントリーシンガーである彼女の良さが前面に出され、私はとても気に入りました♪

カントリーがあまり好きでない方にも、聞きやすくお勧めです。

ファーストシングルのタイトルも、靴好きなケリーにぴったりですね☆

少しハスキーな、でも高音の思いっきり伸ばす事のできるケリーの声質が私は好きです。

アメリカンアイドルでは、スタンダードなバラードを少ぉーし苦手としていたのかもしれませんが、

ケリーの良さがつまっているであろうこのカントリーアルバムに期待しています!!
