12月の半ばに購入しました。
量販店で先代モデルを触った際、筐体の熱さに驚き購入をためらっていました。
しかし、今回搭載されたC2Dの魅力にはあらがえず、現物を確認せずに購入してしまいました。
結果、速いことはもちろん、静粛性と、筐体の冷たさに感動しました。
以前使用していたのはPBG4 Ti 1Ghzでしたが、それよりも発熱が少なく、しかも
ほとんど無音なのです！
G4 Cubeと同じくらい静かでびっくりです。今のところトラブルの報告も聞かないし、
今回のMacBook Proは大当たりですよ。一押しです。

長いことPCユーザでしたが、単ある好奇心からオフィスのマシンを一台iMacにしたのが一年ほど前。それでもWindowsでしか動作しないアプリケーションを仕事で使う必要があるので、最も頻繁に使うノートPCはWindowsマシンのままでした。そこへIntel Macと、Parallelsのような仮想化ツールが登場し、ノートPCをMacにしてみようかなと、そんな動機でMacBook Proを買いました。ハードウェア的には、クリアでワイドなディスプレイに、タイプ感の優れたキーボード、十分に長持ちするバッテリー、DVI出力、磁石で接続する電源ケーブルなどなど満足感大。一番の驚きはマシンが非常に静かなこと。最初は静かすぎてマシンが動いているのか心配になるほど。USBポートが2つしかないないのはやや物足りないか。

ソフトウェア的には、Mac OS Xの信頼性とUnixツールとの親和性は相変わらず秀逸。使い勝手はWindowsから本格的に乗り換えて1ヶ月でようやく違和感がなくなってきました。フリーウェアの充実度もまったく遜色なし。

値段はやや張りますが、それでもこれまで買ったマシンの中でおそらく最も満足度が高いと思います。おすすめ。

08年4月にMacBook最上位のBlackを購入しました。メモリを４Gに増設し使っていましたが、プリケーションを立ち上げる時にひっかかるようなかんじでスムーズにいかなかったり、なにかにつけイライラさせられたので手放して、Proを買い直しました。
こちらは購入時のままの２Gで使用していますが、MacBookで起きたような現象は起こらずスムーズに使えています。
買い替えてよかったです。
