　「エラいところに嫁いでしまった」のエンディングのテーマとして流れていた曲。おや、これは違う。衝撃を受けてしまいました。よく人生でもそうでしょう。何気ない曲、何気ない歌、いくつかあります。マイナスな事実を、プラス思考に歌っているな。古くは、坂本九の「上を向いて歩こう」、ビートルズの「イエスタデー」、カーペンターズの「シング」、そして夏川りみの「涙そうそう」どこからそんなエネルギーが出てるのだろうかと、調べてみると、おー沖縄出身ではありませんか。歌手の名前は、何？「やなわらばー」なんだそれ？レコード店に行っても、「そんな人の歌はないですね。」と、冷たくあしらわれてしまいました。
　そうなんです。この歌は、そんな冷たい現実の世界を、暖かい世界に変えていこうとするパワーを持っています。そして最終的には、「あなたにありがとう」と。確かに寒い冬はいつまでも続くわけではありません。そういえば、このドラマ、仲間と松坂の嫁と姑の確執。どこか、よかれと思ってやったことが、失敗につながってしまう。それで反発しあう。それが、タイトルなんでしょう。それがいつの日か、マイナスではなかったんだ。相手のことを思ってのことなんだ。と気づく日が必ずやってくるという、メッセージソングだと私は思います。
　よくあるんですよねえ、自分で考えて良かれと思ったことが、相手に悪くとられてしまうことがね。ものすごく優秀な曲だと私は思いました。「やなわらばー」ですか。名前は難しいですが、彼女たちの前途は非常に明るいと思いました。がんばれ！！！是非是非、これからもいい曲、いい歌を聞かせて下さい。

最初はドラマのエンディングで聞いたのがきっかけでした。それから歌のフレーズが頭から離れずずっと気になっていました。そしてＣＤ購入。聞いていてとても温かい気持ちになります。親しみやすいリズム、１つ１つ深い意味のある歌詞に感動してしまいました。プロデュースはケツメイシの方だそうで。何かと低評価が目立つ日本の音楽業界ですがこういうアーティストがもっと多くの人に知ってもらえればと思います。もうすぐアルバムも発売されるのでとても楽しみです。

歌詞については先の方が散々詳しく言及なさっていらっしゃいますので触れません。あくまで楽曲としてのあり方についてだけ。
この曲、沖縄音楽の印象が強すぎて見落としてる方も多いかと思いますが、レゲェですね。『ツッチャ,ツッチャ』ってゆーシンセのループやクラップハンズをお聴きいただければ分かるんじゃないでしょうか。やなわらば-ってそーゆーユニットなんですか??僕はよく知らないんですけど。ともあれ、南国音楽であるレゲェと沖縄音楽の相性は当然バッチリ。包み込むような甘い優しさを持っていながらクドくなくコンパクトなメロディは結構ツボでしたね。まぁ、ただガチのレゲェファンには到底通用する曲じゃないだろうし、J-POPとしても割と早くに聴き飽きそうな気配を感じるので星は3つで。
