このセットは、なんといってもダイヤモンドパールの新ポケモンがたくさんでてくること！！
しかも、ポケモンカードゲームDPは、ポケモンのタイプや体重などなどいろいろなポケモンの情報が書いてあるので、ポケモンカードゲームは興味なくても、ポケモンに興味がある人はこのセットを買えば、ポケモンカードゲームも楽しくなるよ！！

ゲームソフト「ポケットモンスターダイヤモンド」ならびに「ポケットモンスターパール」の発売に伴い、ポケモンカードも新シリーズが発売されるわけですが、今までのカードとは内容的に異なっています。
その一番大きなものとしては「弱点」と「抵抗力」でしょうか。今までのシリーズでは「弱点は基本的には受けるダメージが２倍になる」のですが、このシリーズより個々のカードにより弱点によるダメージの計算が異なります。また同様に「抵抗力」も今までのシリーズでは「基本的には受けるダメージから３０ダメージマイナスされる」のですが、こちらもこのシリーズより個々のカードにより抵抗力によるダメージの計算が異なります。
おそらく今までのシリーズの内容が大きく覆されるようになる（もちろん今までのシリーズのカードと混ぜて遊ぶこともできます。）ので、これからポケモンカードをはじめようと思っている方、あるいは今までプレイしてきた方も必須の商品となるのではないでしょうか。

　5歳の弟のために買いました。
　価格面で言うと、スーパー・ネット等では1600円から2000円。オークション等では600円からの価格帯で多く売られています。すべて新品の値段です。
　オークションでは特に1stエディションが2000円強で売られています。私がここで購入したときはすでに1stエディションではありませんでした。
　他分野の商品をいろいろな店舗で購入し、個別に配送料がかかることなく、一括配送で購入できることを考えれば、ついで買いも含めてお得な値段だと思います。
