スタンダード・ナンバー「My Favorite things」「Tennessee Waltz」や、お馴染みの名曲「Danny Boy」などを収録したピアノ弾き語りGrace Mahyaのデビュー・アルバム。癖のない唄い口で原曲の魅力を巧みに引き出す一方で、「My Way」のような硬派な曲にも積極的にトライしています。脇を固める小沼ようすけ、仙道さおり等、若さ溢れるスタイリッシュなサウンドも聴きもの。「You Are So Beautiful」が泣けます。

マーヤの歌声は一度聴いたら忘れられない！SACDで聴いたが、録音もよく臨場感があふれ、やさしく、美しく、暖かいマーヤの世界が広がる！　「The Look Of Love」「My Favorite things」「Tennessee Waltz」「Danny Boy」「My Way」・・懐かしいメロディ、等身大のマーヤの世界に引き込まれる。60回ぐらいCDで聴いて、どうしてもライブで聴きたく、2007年4月29日に新宿（ﾌｰｽﾞ･ﾌｰ）でライブを聴いた、大坂昌彦(Ds)さん、鳥越啓介(B)さんのサポートで、明るく人なつっこい、マーヤの世界が堪能できた。CDを聴いた方は、ライブも聴いて欲しいと思う（泊まりで行く価値有り）。

CDを聞いて、バランスのとれた心に優しく気持ちいい音楽だな、と思っていた。最近ライブをテレビで見る機会があったが、ビジュアル的にもすばらしかった。JAZZというジャンルにこだわらず、すべての音楽ファンに聞いてもらいたいCDだ。
