明るさアップのしくみ
ご家庭で照明器具をご使用される際には、ランプを器具に装着した時の下面方向への光量（直下照度）が重要。 ＜プライド＞は上面に東芝独自の反射膜コーティングを採用、下面方向への光を多くすることで明るさを約30％アップ※ 1した

寿命2 倍で飛躍的に明るさが持続※2！
寿命2倍、明るさ長持ち【定格寿命12,000時間＋光束維持率約80％】
新設計電極、球状シリカ保護膜の採用などによってランプの黒化や劣化を抑制し、高い光束維持率を達成。それにより使用中の明るさ低下を少なくすることができ、定格寿命6,000時間を2倍の12,000時間へと飛躍的に延ばし、長寿命化※2を実現。さらに定格寿命の時点で約80％の光束維持率を達成した


●長寿命化の技術

新設計電極（トリプルコイル）
フィラメントコイルの改良を行ない、ランプの寿命に大きく影響するエミッタ（電子放出物質）の保持力をアップ。さらに、エミッタ塗布量の最適化により、長寿命化を実現した（FCL30タイプ）


新保護膜コーティング
球状シリカを採用し、膜厚を最適化することで黒化の原因であるナトリウム析出を抑制するとともに、管内の紫外放射によるガラスの劣化を抑制することで明るさの低下を大幅に改善した（FCL全品種）


反射膜付き蛍光ランプですので右記の点にご注意ください
TOSHIBAマークの表示が下側（床面）を向くように器具に装着してください。ごく一部の器具で、ランプの装着方向が裏向き（TOSHIBAマークが器具反射板側）になり、直下照度が暗くなる場合があります。その場合は、反射膜が付いていない蛍光ランプをお使いください

※1 直下照度の明るさです。直下照度測定方法は当社基準（ランプ単体、1m直下にて測定）による。また、器具構造により直下照度アップ率は異なります。（東芝現行品「メロウZ」比）

今使っている部屋のインバータ式蛍光灯で使ったことのあるものと比較して
みました。

まず同じ東芝製のメロウZロングライフとの比較ですが、同じ昼光色でも
プライドの方が微妙に明るい気がします。
部屋にある光に反応して動くおもちゃ(葉が揺れる鉢植えのようなもの)の
動きで比べるとハッキリしたのですが、プライドの方が動きがいいです。

次にメーカーは異なりますが、パナソニックのパルックプレミアのナチュラル
色と比べると、これはもうひと目で違いがわかるくらいメロウZプライドの
方が全然明るいです。(光で動くおもちゃはパルックでは微動だにしません)
ただ、これはメーカーの違いというよりは色合いの違いだと思うのですが、
パルックのナチュラル色はメロウZの昼光色に比べて赤みがかった電球に近い
色合いでした。

寿命ですが、メロウZプライドは使い始めたばかりなのでまだわかりませんが、
メロウZロングライフが製品名に反して一番短かったです。
少なくともパルックプレミアよりは断然短かったですね。

ここまでの比較で明るさではメロウZプライドの昼光色、寿命は(プライドは
まだ不明ながら)パルックプレミアの方が長いというのが私が使った結果です。

なんというか1.5倍明るいという感じ。
コレに慣れると普通の蛍光灯が使えなくなりますｗ

上面に反射材を塗ってあるので、その分明るい。
製造会社名が下にくるような器具でないと、装着に向きません。
では、他社のものとくらべて、より明るいかどうかは、自社比でしか公表されないでしょう。
いくつかの機器で、比べてみるのがよいかもしれません。
比較実験をした方がいらっしゃったら、結果を公開してくださいね。
