こんな大名盤が１０００円ですか。うれしいような悲しいような。
第１楽章から第５楽章までは普通です。いや、普通といってもこれに続く第６楽章と比べて、ということなんですけど。
で、その第６楽章の開始から１分３０秒あたりの深遠な響きにいまだに魅了されています。
これほど深く、重く、厳粛なピアニッシモ？は聴いたことが無いです。
大地の歌にはいろいろな名盤がありますけど、音質の点でも音楽的な面でも個人的には第１位の大名盤です。

5.0 out of 5 stars こんな柔らかい響きの「大地の歌」があるとは・・・, 2008/2/24
大地の歌というと、バーンスタインやワルター、クレンペラーの昔の名盤がたくさんあるのですが、最近ではテンシュテット、レヴァイン、ブーレーズなどが出ているものの、録音こそ優れてが感銘を受ける録音はありませんでした。
ジュゼッペ・シノーポリは昔から知ってましたし、フィルハーモニア管弦楽団とのレントゲンでスコアを読み取るような冷徹な演奏のＣＤも１・５・７番を持っていました。
東洋的な「大地の歌」にあのシノーポリではどうせオケがドレスデン国立管に変わったところで似たような解釈だろうとたかをくくってたのですが、こんな柔らかく優しい響きの演奏だったとは・・・二人の歌手も秀逸、オケもドレスデンのしなやかな響きと相まって気宇の名盤となっています。他の交響曲も聴いてみたかったですが、シノーポリの急死によりそれも叶わず、残念としか言えません。この演奏・録音とも最高のものがたった１０００円ですよ。
ＤＧの太っ腹に感動です。
