　これは戦前戦後にかけて活躍したヴァイオリン奏者にして
作曲家でもあるヘンリク･シェリング演奏のものであり、
シェリングの最も得意とする(とは言ってもかなり演奏できる
守備範囲は広かったらしいが)バッハの無伴奏ヴァイオリンの
ための作品が廉価版(\1,000!!)で手に入れる事が出来、また、
関心の無い人でもどこかで聴いたことがあるパルティータ
第3番ホ長調第3楽章(ガボット)が入っているだけではなく、
バッハ最高傑作といわれているパルティータ第2番ニ短調
(シャコンヌ)(14分31秒)も入っているので、取り敢えず
『かじってみる』だけでも必聴の価値あり。

バッハの無伴奏バイオリンが聴きたかったので、図書館で借りました。
正直、演奏者や技術のことなんて全くわからないけど、気に入ったので購入しました。

他のバイオリニストさんのCDも何枚か聴きましたが、それぞれに持ち味があるので、
どの演奏がいいとかは評価できません。
それでも、シェリングという人の音色は素直に心地いいと感じました。

いろんなバイオリニストがパルティータを弾いてますが、全曲が入ってるものは
あまり無いように思ったので、値段的にも持ってて後悔はないと思います。

録音されてるのが古いですが、わたしにとっては古さを感じさせませんでした。オススメです。

シェリングのバッハは、その解釈、奏法とも一つの時代の教科書であったと思う。30年の時代を経て、今はさらに精緻なバッハ解釈、より時代を再現したバロックの再現が当たり前となっているが、1960年代に捉えられていたバッハが何であったのかを今に伝える格好の名盤として、後世に語り継ぎたい1枚だと思います。
