ドヴォルザークの代表作である交響曲第8番と第9番がセットでこのお値段はお買い得です。
ドレスデン国立管弦楽団の演奏もしっかりしていて、その辺で売っている安いクラシックCDと比べても全然いいと思います。
個人的には新世界（第9番）が好きなのでCDを何枚か持っていますが、特に新世界のCDを持っていない方にはおすすめです。

交響曲9番「新世界より」に関してですが、特にクセがなく
安心して聴ける演奏だと思います。
あえて挙げるなら、録音のせいかもしれませんが弦楽が前面に出て
金管が奥に入ったような感じに聞こえます。
（ただし、盛り上がる部分ではちゃんと前面に出てくるので
ヘッドフォンで聴くにはちょうどいいかも）

あと、比較的録音が新しい（1994年）こともあり、
静かな場面でもホワイトノイズがなくクリア感があります。

安価なので「新世界」好きな人は持っていてもよい1枚ではないでしょうか。

ドイツ・グラモフォンの１０００円シリーズは、廉価版にするにはもったいない
名演が数々あり、入門者にもヘヴィーリスナーにも大変ありがたいシリーズです。
レヴァインというと、容姿に似合わず繊細な音楽観を持った指揮者で、
時として豪快に、リリシズムとたたえた演奏も出来る実力者です。
ここに聴くドヴォルザークの８番・９番「新世界より」ともクラシックの定番です。
名曲だけに実にＣＤの数も多いのですが、ドレスデン国立管弦楽団のしなやかさ
が、決してヒステリックになることなくスケールの大きな音楽をかもし出しています。
たった１０００円でこの演奏！ぜひお勧めします。
