知性の塊、加藤和彦さんの確信犯的再結成アルバムです。（いや、そんな大層な力は入れてないかも）
いい意味で日本人離れした高中正義さんの曲とカッコいいギタープレイ。
どことなく昭和の懐かしさを感じさせる小原礼さんの曲。
房総半島をまったりとドライブしながら聞きたくなるユキヒロ節。
パンチの効いた、美しい日本語の木村カエラさんのボーカル。
なかなかどうしてＣＭ企画にのっかっただけの余興と切り捨てるにはもったいないだけの充実したアルバムです。

木村カエラファンの方はちょっと・・と思うかもしれないが、これがサディスティック・ミカ・バンド。
当然カエラは全曲唄ってません。おっさん達も唄ってますので注意が必要です。
ただ、もともとサディスティックファンの方には最高のプレゼントになることでしょう。
カエラのボーカルもはまりにはまってます。今までの女性ボーカルの中で一番合ってます。
また、それぞれおっさん達のグルーヴが最高です。
高中なんてこの前のコンサートより楽しそうな音出してますよ。
しかしいいっすね〜
とにかく還暦近いおっさん達が、若い娘をセンターに置いて楽しそうにやってるのが伝わります。

木村カエラを迎えて新鮮な、というよりかは懐かしい、という印象です。
カエラの声がなんとなくミカの声に似ているのも影響してる？
しかし、カエラの声、パフォーマンスはミカバンドにすごくフィットしていて
往年のミカバンドファンにはとても心地よい１枚になっていると思います。
前回の桐嶋カレンのミカバンドの方が新しさはあったと思いましたが、
作品の出来としては今回のアルバムの方が断然良いと思います。
