CDで聞くのと違って、平原綾香が目の前でまるで自分のために歌っててくれているような
錯覚におちるDVD「LIVE　TOUR　2006」
1曲1曲、ひとつひとつの言葉をそれは丹念に歌い上げる平原綾香の魅力がいっぱい！
気持ちいいほどよくでる彼女の音域の広さ
やっぱり一番好きなのは「明日」
ドラマ「優しい時間」で「明日」を聞いたときのあのはっとした気持ちにしてくれます
コンサートのテーマ”4つのL"に彼女の思い、魅力がふんだんにこめられたDVD！
背伸びしないありのままの彼女でいられる素の綾香で構成されているから心地いいDVDです。

平原綾香というと“Jupiter”を歌っている人としか知らなかったのですが、たまたまＷＯＷＯＷで、この武道館公演の１時間バージョンの放送を観て、その素晴らしさに一遍に魅了されてしまいました。今回発売されたフルバージョンを収録したＤＶＤを観て改めて感じたことは、平原綾香が持つ、凡百の歌い手には表現できない、大きなスケール感でしょう。ギター２名、ベース１名、キーボード２名、ドラムス１名（特にこのドラマーの演奏は出色）、ストリングス２４名を従え、さらにホーン・セクション４名（父親平原まことを含む）が加わる、“心”から“Jupiter”に至るクライマックスの壮大さは、武道館ですら小さいと感じさせるものがあります。このＤＶＤは、平原綾香のデビュー以来、リリースされた全ての作品、全てのパフォーマンスの中でも、最も優れたものであり、彼女にとって最初のピークと言って過言ではないでしょう。

Jupiterを聴いて以来、平原綾香さんの歌声が好きになりＣＤを聴くことが多くなりましたが、このＤＶＤの映像を見てすっかり彼女の持っている素晴らしい感性に引き込まれてしまいました。歌がうまいのはもちろんですが、彼女の音楽が好きで好きでたまらない気持ちが、映像を通して伝わって来るのがわかります。そして、バックのアーティスト達のプロの演奏にも引き込まれて行きます。そして、やっぱり、音楽って素晴らしい。そう思わせてくれる作品です。
