世間の評価は知りませんが、僕はけっこう好きです。久々に観るのが楽しみです。

LDボックスには完全盤サントラと詳細な音楽解説がついていたので、DVDでもつけて欲しかったです。２枚組でサントラが別途発売されるとも思えないので、この点は残念！（フィギュアに興味が無い（場所を取る！）身としては余計に。フィギュア無し通常版とかあればいいのに）

生身でATと互角またはそれ以上でわたり合えるメロウリンクがカッコイイです。敵のATも魅力的でバウンティドッグを始めフォックススペシャルやライアットドッグなど魅力的なATが多数出てきます。特に2話に登場するメルキアの銀狐ことギャルビンフォックス中尉のATは必見です。

ようやくのDVD化。
内容は他の方が語る通りなので、商品としての善し悪しを。

良かった所
　箱やデジパックの形状が、ボトムズのメモリアルＢＯＸを意識した作りになっています。
　最初「なぜこんな形の箱に？」と思いましたが、
　ボトムズ本編の箱にデザインを合わせたのですね。納得。
　画質は、ＬＤより良くなりました。
　箱、デジパックの新規イラストは良いデキかと思います。

悪かった所
　ＬＤの時よりも綺麗になったとはいえ、画面上のゴミが残っています。
　もっと綺麗にできたのでは。
　ミクロマンは不要かと。箱の内側に入っています。
　これのせいで無駄に場所を取る。せめてDVD用の箱の外に専用の箱を付けてほしかった。
　ＬＤに付属していたサントラＣＤの方が特典としては嬉しいですね。
　ブックレットのインタビューが高橋監督以外ＬＤＢＯＸ時の使い回し。
　ピクチャーレーベルもＬＤのジャケットの絵でした。

総評
　ブックレットも含め、特典はＬＤＢＯＸの方が上です。
　が、画質の向上と、ようやくDVD化されたという事を素直に喜びたいです。
　完璧ではないですが、コレクターズアイテムとしては持っておきたい物かと。
